Foreign Language Curriculum Adoption

Zillah High School administration and Foreign Language Department submitted a proposal to adopt the curriculum Encuentros Comunicacion y Cultura 1 and 2 as the new Spanish Curriculum beginning the 2022-2023 school year. The District’s Instructional Materials Committee conduct its review according to District policy and will make the recommendation for Board approval at the May 26, 2022 board meeting.

The curriculum will be available for public view beginning Wednesday, May 18, 2022 through Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Zillah High School’s main office between the hours of 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The public can submit feedback regarding the curriculum to Justin Irion in writing at 213 4th Avenue or at justin.irion@zillahschools.org.

ZSD Spring Parent Meeting to be Rescheduled for Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 6:00-7:00 at ZMS Commons

The ZSD will provide an additional Spring Parent Meeting event on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 6:00-7:00 at the ZMS Commons. We hope that communication about this meeting finds anyone who would like to attend or that this additional date is better for those community members who could not make the first event.

2021-2022 ZSD Volunteer of the Year Recognition

Congratulation to Jaci Cochran for being recognized as the 2021-2022 ZSD Volunteer of the Year! Jaci volunteers in her children's classroom at HES and is an active member of the parent association. We appreciate her ongoing support of HES and the Zillah School District.
