Superintendent

Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year! This is my 31st year in the Zillah School District and my eighth as Superintendent. I continue to feel privileged to be part of such a wonderful educational team.  I respect and value my colleagues and their continued commitment and dedication to our schools!  I have considerable pride in the Zillah School District, our community, and our staff and students. Strong schools and strong community values go hand in hand. In Zillah, we share a common goal of a high quality education, efficient operations, and a high level of support and involvement from our parents and community. We look forward to this journey together as we continually strive to prepare our students to be successful leaders of tomorrow. We all need to work together to make this happen. This partnership is a key reason for the successes in the Zillah School District. We will continue to commit to educational and systematic improvements as we focus on the needs of all students. The ZSD is committed to promoting fair and equitable practices for all students and staff, in which everyone receives learning experiences and supports that expand opportunities for growth and achievement. We encourage many academic and extra-curricular activities which help to produce well-rounded individuals confident for college and career ready decisions after high school.  We also recognize how a student's emotional, social, intellectual and physical wellness can be directly related to their accomplishments at school and we will continue to reinforce environments where all students can achieve their highest potential. I feel blessed to be the ZSD Superintendent and I consider myself extremely fortunate to be able to live and work in this tremendous community! Zillah is a wonderful place to raise a family, offering many opportunities and experiences for our students as they prepare for successful futures.
