Dear Zillah Families,
We need your help to ensure our schools continue receiving the support and resources our students deserve. Please take just 10 minutes to complete the Family Income Survey—only one survey per household is needed.
While Zillah School District currently qualifies to offer free meals to all students through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), our eligibility is based on the percentage of families identified as low-income. Recent data shows a 15 percentage point drop from our usual average, which puts our ability to continue offering free meals at risk.
Even more urgently, State and Federal funding for vital programs—including academic support, counseling, and enrichment opportunities—is directly tied to accurate income data. Without complete information, we risk losing funding that supports all students.
Completing the survey can also benefit your family directly. Families who qualify may receive:
- Reduced or eliminated fees for sports, ASB cards, Running Start, and other programs.
- Access to summer meal programs for students.
The survey is confidential, quick, and essential. If you haven’t filled it out yet, please do so today. Your participation helps us maintain free meals, secure funding, and provide equitable support for every student in Zillah.
