It is the mission of the Zillah
High School to foster the following:

1. The development of basic
skills which promote self esteem and produce capable,
adaptable, contributing citizens of family, community,
national and global society, who possess a desire to continue
their educational development throughout their lives.

2. The maintenance of an
open environment which encourages frequent, positive
interactions and in which every individual is encouraged to
participate responsibly in the decisions which affect their
lives. This environment will be one in which social
responsibility, and academic competence, and excellence are
emphasized.

supportive environment where every student and staff member
can achieve success.

SCHOOL CLIMATE PHILOSOPHY

Climate will be conducive to a positive learning environment
that causes each student to be responsible for his/her own
behavior. To accomplish this goal, the following things must
be a part of the environment:

All students and faculty must be treated with fairness,
respect, and consistency.

Trust must be built among the students, staff, and
administrators for all to work together effectively.
ACCREDITATION
Zillah High School is
accredited by the State Board of Education. This accreditation means
that Zillah High School meets all requirements concerning
curriculum, personnel, buildings, equipment, and instructional
materials.
