Zillah High School Campus Chapter

Now is the time for ZHS Students to join the club.  See any advisor or officer for further information

Zillah High School has been approved to form a high school chapter of the Habitat for Humanity Organization

What is a campus chapter?  A campus chapter is a student-led, student-initiated organization on a high school or college campus that partners with the local HFH affiliate to fulfill the Four Functions of a campus chapter.

The Four Functions of campus chapters are building, fund raising, educating and advocating.

Habitat affiliates are the local branches of Habitat for Humanity and are independently operated. Habitat for Humanity is active in communities all around the world. To find out what HFH is doing in your area and to become active contact the affiliate nearest you and let them know:

  • How old you are.
  • That you are interested in volunteering.
  • If you would be interested in doing something other than building.

Remember, you need to be 16 or older to work on a Habitat build site. But if you are younger than 16, you can still help! Be creative and come up with some ideas, such as:

  • Help in the ReStore.
  • Office work (file papers, answer phones, etc.).
  • Staff events.
  • Come up with your own ideas!
