What is a campus chapter? A campus chapter is a student-led, student-initiated organization on a high school or college campus that partners with the local HFH affiliate to fulfill the Four Functions of a campus chapter. The Four Functions of campus chapters are building, fund raising, educating and advocating. Habitat affiliates are the local branches of Habitat for Humanity and are independently operated. Habitat for Humanity is active in communities all around the world. To find out what HFH is doing in your area and to become active contact the affiliate nearest you and let them know:
Remember, you need to be 16 or older to work on a Habitat build site. But if you are younger than 16, you can still help! Be creative and come up with some ideas, such as:
